Uhkua provides guided nature tours in Saimaa area, both on water and on land. With our open canoes and little fishing boat we can take you to explore Lake Saimaa from early spring to late autumn. Summer and autumn are also perfect seasons to forage berries and mushrooms during our forest walks. In wintertime we arrange snowshoeing trips to icy lake and frosty forests.

Uhkua has good transport links also by water. You can easily get to the beach with canoes and kayaks and a small boat. The Vuolte route connecting Yövesi and Louhivesi passes by our shore under the Nikinsalmi bridge (passage height 2.5 m) and by following it you can get all the way to Luonteri.
We have a few parking spaces for guests staying and participants in excursions.
