The nature of the Saimaa region is worth experiencing in all seasons. There are several small islands in the vicinity of Rallin Lomamökti where you can go hiking. In autumn, there are good opportunities for berry picking and mushroom picking.
In winter, there are ski trails nearby, depending on snow conditions. There are longer trails in the Sulkava church village, where there are dozens of kilometres of trails, some of them illuminated.
In summer, the 16,000 ha of excellent swimming waters surround the area. Guided forest walks and farm tours can be arranged if required.
