Puumala church

In the centre of Puumala village is a simply beautiful wooden church and a historic churchyard. The church is one of the largest wooden churches in Finland. The church was consecrated in 1832 and its most recent renovation was carried out in 2006-2007. The church has a capacity of over 1,000 people and the organ loft has a 36-voice organ
