Saimaa Lakeside cottages offers accommodation right by Lake Saimaa, in Palpaanniemi, Ruokolahti. All cottages in the complex provide access to the lake via private jetties. Nestled in the heart of nature, the location offers a peaceful, private setting, ensuring a relaxing stay.
OUR ACCOMMODATION
The complex features six modern villas, four lakeside saunas, children’s play areas, and spaces for sports and games. Each villa comes with a boat equipped with an electric outboard motor, a terrace grill, and access to a nearby barbecue area.
The villas vary in size (135, 148, and 175 m²), but all include four separate bedrooms, a lounge with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, an indoor sauna, and a separate lakeside sauna.Some of the lakeside saunas feature a terrace and a hot tub suitable for year-round use. We provide firewood for the fireplace, grill, and sauna—as well as gas for the terrace grill and other essentials—at no extra cost.
During the warmer seasons, bicycles are available for guests to use, and the area offers facilities for table tennis, volleyball, and football, all at no additional charge.
The accommodation facilities were renovated between 2021 and 2022; during this period, new sauna heaters and piers were acquired, new terraces were built, a new water treatment system was installed, and lawn areas and sports fields were refurbished.
