B&B Hiitolanjoki

B&B Hiitolajoki was formerly a border guard station. You can see a sign about the border zone on the opposite bank of the river. Another sign can be found in a nearby fir tree. A recently renovated log sauna is located on the banks of the river, where you can take a refreshing dip in the river. The river flows freely all year round.

The upper floor of B&B Hiitolanjoki is reserved for accommodation. Washing and toilet facilities are shared. In the lobby there are two refrigerators, a coffee and water kettle and a microwave. The upstairs staircase has a children's gate. For small travellers there is a cot and high chair and a potty. Pets are welcome. Our cosy and comfortably furnished rooms can also be used for parties, meetings and training. There are a few electric poles in the courtyard area for the mobile home park. The area is quiet and only 2km from the 6 road. You can use the washrooms in the riverside sauna and the toilets in the main building. There is also a campfire site at the sauna beach and the nearby lava pond is only 200m away.
It is important for B&B Hiitolajoki to cherish the Karelian hospitality and to serve its guests individually. Local food, nature and sustainability are reflected in the services.
