INACS PROJECT TEAM ON A PHOTOGRAPHY TRIP IN ESTONIA
The goal of the INACS project is to build a virtual platform that breaks national borders and brings natural and cultural sites closer to users. The platform and project activities offer an experiential and multilingual way to explore the unique sites of the regions, while promoting the well-being of young people in nature.
In early July, the Finnish project team of the Inacs project went on a photography trip to Estonian natural and cultural sites from 6 to 9 July 2026. During the long filming days, we visited 18 different sites by land, where 360 photos, GoPro videos and normal videos were taken, as well as photos. The photography equipment was Xamk and Saimaa Geopark's own or purchased for the project.
During the filming days, we progressed from locations in northern Estonia down to the southernmost locations, staying within the planned filming trip program, around Lake Peipsi. The filming locations were selected by the Estonian project team for the project and covered a wide variety of locations: from viewpoints to stunning beaches and local historical ruins.
We want to increase the well-being and movement of young people in nature by providing easily accessible, visually appealing and informative content.
During the INACS project, various virtual materials will be collected from natural and cultural sites in all countries, which will then be compiled into final products. These finished virtual products will be placed for everyone to see on a virtual platform created in the project.
