Pistohiekka is a fine natural site with a long tradition in the best scenery of Lake Saimaa. The stylish beach restaurant, saunas and cottages are set on a pine tree canopy, with a wide view of the clean, norphaned Lietvede lake in Lake Saimaa. The restaurant and saunas are right on the beach, where the sun shines all day.

In recent years, several quality restaurants have sprung up in the Saimaa region, eager to serve their customers with ambitious and clean local food. We at Pistohieka also want to highlight the food culture of the Saimaa region by showcasing the best of the region's cuisine and food traditions in a unique setting.

The menu lives with the seasons and harvests, but you can always find fresh local fish and vegetables on the menu. We always try to offer vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free options.

sauna

Right next to the beach restaurant are two saunas, connected by a large covered terrace. From the terrace and the decks of both saunas you can enjoy the beautiful Saimaa landscape, and from the pier you can take a dip in the clean water. The private sauna can be booked at any time. accomodation

You can come for longer periods of time. You can choose quality accommodation from our modern cottages, all equipped with a kitchenette and bathroom. All cottages have a light-covered south-facing terrace where you can enjoy a comfortable stay. The cottages have a sleeping alcove for two with twin beds or a double bed. The sofa bed in the living room can sleep 1-2 people and it is also possible to add an extra bed to each cottage if required.
