A relaxing holiday in the peace of the countryside
Sorjonen Holiday Cottages offer accommodation by the lake in Sulkava, Etelä-Savo. Villa Jukanranta, Villa Tuulahdus and Villa Lilla. Each cottage is decorated differently, evoking an authentic cottage atmosphere. Villa Jukanranta and Villa Lilla are allergy-free, but pets are also welcome at Villa Tuulahdus. In addition to a well-maintained yard, each cottage also has its own dock and rowing boat, as well as yard games, ants and firewood. The holiday cottages, like their surroundings, are child-friendly and the yards have sandpits and swings for children to play in. All our cottages have running water and electric heating and free Wi-Fi.
Sustainability
Our holiday cottages are built by our own labour from timber from our own forest, for example, Villa Windfall is timbered by a local entrepreneur from his own trees. Responsible Tourism Guide booklets are available at each accommodation, which explain how you can make your holiday more sustainable. The guide gives tips on how to get out and about in nature, how to eat local food and how to save energy. Sorjonen Holiday Cottages have written a Commitment2050, which aims to further improve waste sorting.
