VISUAL ARTS IN A VARIED AND COURAGEOUS WAY
Vilma Leinonen is an artist from South Savo. Vilma Leinonen takes on a variety of painting projects, specialising in murals, incorporating elements of street art. Painting facades and especially spaces for young people is a meaningful way to create a welcoming and unique space.
Vilma Leinonen also runs a variety of workshops. In the graffiti workshop you can create your own inner voice on the walls and objects you have erected. The workshops are partly guided and there is also an opportunity to try out the stencil technique. The Light and Shadow workshop explores movement through creative practice. The participant is challenged to indulge in exploring movement made visible through their sensory world. For martial arts practitioners, the challenge of observation in these workshops is to get used to a new environment and to trust their own perceptions. The first 2 workshops are aimed at martial arts practitioners, regardless of age or skill level.
