Oasis in the middle of Imatra city
Vuoksi Fishing Park is a family business, now in its third generation of operation in Varpasaari. Varpasaari is an aptly named, toe-shaped promontory surrounded by the Vuoksi River, near the centre of Imatra. Vuoksi Fishing Park is perfectly accessible from all parts of Imatra.
Vuoksen Kalastuspuisto is a summer-oriented activity. However, the campsite is open all year round and the Wanha Virveli restaurant is open during the off-season for a variety of events and as a restaurant on demand. The fishing park hosts a number of events and activities throughout the year. Parties, meetings and dinners can be organised in the rented premises.
Comfortable accommodation
The campsite has 44 caravan pitches, 20 of which are beach pitches. All pitches are electrified. Two brand new, fully equipped cabins are available for rent; Vuoksi and Virta. The cottages, completed in winter 2023, are available for rent all year round. In addition, the more ascetic Siika cottage and Hiljan piha cottage without amenities are available for rent.
The reception is located in the café-restaurant Wanha Virveli, which is open from morning till evening in summer. The café-restaurant Wanha Virveli is also located in Vuoksi Fishing Park.
