Nature trips in the Saimaa
A leisurely nature excursion rowing a traditional church boat to the Saimaa Unesco Global Geopark Julunkivi nature reserve and back. On the way, you will hear stories about local nature, history, and life from the Ice Age to modern times. At the same time, the participants row the boat at a leisurely pace. Breaks, stops and landings are held when necessary.
Under Julunkivi, one of Finland's largest boulders, you will enjoy excursion food provided by the organizer, which prefers local local products. Drinking water is included for free consumption. Campfires are part of the program if the forest fire warning does not prohibit it.
