A virtualreality user may need different tools to interact with the environment. Virtual reality equipment usually consists of virtual headset, headphones and additional devices, such as motion detection equipment and controllers.

Technology and the coronavirus pandemic have accelerated the development of virtualtours to become even more versatile and real. Today, however virtualtourism is defined as an immersive experience that takes place completely virtually.
