Rimpsu

Good food and fresh drinks! Rimpsu-Reetta  is a warm and friendly restaurant and café on the shores of Lake Saimaa in Imatra harbour. Rimpsu-Reetta offers taste experiences based on Karelian tradition and the Saimaa region. We favour pure, Finnish raw materials that are good for both the stomach and the mind. The most important values in our products and business are ethics, ecology, healthiness and great flavour combinations.

The restaurant offers, among other things, Imatra specialities, rimpsu, which are rye pies baked according to a local grandmother's traditional recipe. In other words, Karelian pies with a twist. Rimpsu are available in savoury and sweet, as well as vegetarian and vegan versions. In 2022, Rimpsu-Rietta's blueberry-vanilla rimpsu won the Artisan Food World Championship gold medal.

Rimpsu-Reetta also offers smaller savoury and sweet treats, coffee bread, smoothie bowls, coffee and delicious loose ice cream, refreshments and ready-made packed lunches for boaters, beach lions and hikers.
