VIRTUAlreality

Virtual reality (VR) is a fully computerized 3D environment that mimics an interactive, real environment. It aims to convey the feeling of presence to the viewer. When implementing virtual content, 360-degree images and videos are often used, and the virtual environment is created with the help of various computer devices and software. A virtual reality user may need different tools to interact with the environment. Virtual reality equipment usually consists of various virtual glasses, headphones and additional devices, such as motion detection equipment and controllers.

VIRTUAltravel

Virtual tourism is considered to have started about 150 years ago, when it was viewing various printed photographs and pictorial narratives, i.e. panoramas. In the computer age, the concept of virtual tourism is relatively short-lived, as VR trips have only been possible in practice since the 1980s. However, technology and the corona pandemic have accelerated the development of virtual trips to become even more versatile and real. Today, however, virtual tourism is defined as an immersive experience that takes place completely virtually.
