Mikkeli Art Museum provides a wide range of services connected with the visual arts in South Savo. It researches, documents and displays, e.g. art from the region. One important area is the exhibition and collection of Finnish graphic art. In addition to organizing exhibitions, it is the task of the art museum to look after and add to the art collections in its possession.
