SAIMAA’S ARCHIPELAGO

Taipalsaari The Saimaa archipelago is an active part of the recreational area complex being built on the shores of Lake Saimaa. Half of the municipality's area is blue Saimaa and the other half consists of around 700 islands. The municipality has as much as 1008 kilometres of coastline. A vibrant archipelago municipality offers a wide range of leisure activities and events. The municipality offers a wide range of tourism services, from accommodation and restaurant services to tailor-made programmes.
