SAIMAA’S ARCHIPELAGO

Taipalsaari, a municipality in Saimaa’s archipelago, is an active part of the recreational areas on the shores of Lake Saimaa. Half of the municipality’s area consists of the blue waters of Lake Saimaa, while the other half is made up of roughly 700 islands.
